JOB DESCRIPTION

• Roles & Responsibilities:
• Comply with provided systems, practices, methods, standards and procedures of work.
• Safe and effective maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Ensure that effective communication is established and maintained.
• Provide and maintain a conducive working environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• N2 trade related subjects or 10 years as a qualified artisan.
• Recognized trade certificate.
• Learnership contract / proof of formal training/workbook.
• 2 years’ experience as an artisan in winders / pump stations / conveyor belts.
• English proficiency.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Medical certificate of Fitness.
• Own transport (To attend to call-outs in good time).
• Ability to pass conveyor belt riding.
